Andreas advises on all aspects of German and European competition law with a focus on merger control, cartel investigations and private antitrust litigation. He has particular expertise in digital and regulated industries, especially in the pharmaceutical sector.
Vita
Andreas studied law at the University of Bayreuth and the University of Nottingham (LL.M. 2009). Prior to joining Gleiss Lutz in 2018, he gained experience as a trainee at the German Federal Competition Authority (Bundeskartellamt) as well as with the Antitrust & Competition practices of leading international law firms in Brussels, Berlin and Munich. From 2015-2018 he worked as a research assistant to Prof. Dr. Heike Schweitzer at Freie Universität Berlin, where he also taught German and European competition law.
He is a member of the Association for the Study of Antitrust Law (Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht e.V.).
