Markus Braun advises national and international clients in all phases of M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions. This includes, in particular, advising strategic and financial investors as well as owner-managed and family-owned businesses on all aspects of German and cross-border deals, including auctions, exclusive transactions, joint ventures, carve-outs, reinvestments as well as minority and management participations. He also advises on all aspects of corporate law on a regular basis.
Vita
Markus studied at the universities of Wurzburg (also Attorney of European Law), Munich and Oxford (M.Jur. 2016 – Merton College). He has been with Gleiss Lutz, with a brief hiatus, since 2016. In 2016/2017, Markus was seconded to the legal and M&A department of a leading international agribusiness and agrochemical company.
Markus is a certified commercial and corporate law attorney and a member of the German-British Lawyers’ Association (DBJV), the German-American Lawyers’ Association (DAJV) as well as the Corporate Law Association (VGR).
Markus speaks German and English.
