Expertise

Katrin has extensive experience in advising companies from all industries on labour and employment law issues and representing them in court. She specialises in advising on the employment law aspects of compliance projects, internal investigations and negotiating with trade unions and works councils. A key focus of her practice is on data protection, co-determination in connection with IT systems, and cybersecurity. She conducts negotiations on IT-related works agreements and the associated technical monitoring of staff behaviour and performance, including relevant employee data protection and legal provisions on IT security. Katrin heads the HR working group of the German Institute of Compliance (DICO).

Vita
She studied at the universities of Berlin, Bonn and Freiburg. She has been a partner at Gleiss Lutz since 2002.

Katrin is a certified labour law attorney. She is a member of the German Bar Association’s Labour Law Working Group and the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA).

In addition to German and English, Katrin speaks French, Italian and Dutch.
