Christian’s practice is focused on cross-border and domestic financial restructurings, work-outs, insolvency and multi-jurisdictional collateral enforcement. He advises clients on strategic and legal issues in relation to their distressed debt and special situations investments. Christian has broad experience in a range of different business sectors including automotive, telecommunications, packaging, paper, transport, mining, energy and power, offshore and oil and gas. His clients include hedge funds, bondholders, institutional lenders, secondary market investors creditor committees and domestic and international companies.
Christian studied at the University of Mannheim. He has been a partner at Gleiss Lutz since 2022. Prior to that, he worked for several international law firms – since 2013, as a partner. In 2004/2005, Christian was seconded to a leading global private equity fund.
Christian speaks German, English and Italian.
