Gleiss Lutz advises q.beyond AG on the sale of its colocation subsidiary IP Exchange GmbH

​A team of Gleiss Lutz lawyers has advised q.beyond AG on the sale of its colocation subsidiary IP Exchange GmbH to NorthC Group Deutschland GmbH, a company of the Dutch data centre operator NorthC Group, as well as on the preceding carve-out of q.beyond AG's colocation business in Munich and Nuremberg to IP Exchange GmbH and the sale of its subsidiary IP Colocation GmbH.

q.beyond AG (formerly QSC AG), a listed company, is one of the leading IT service providers for German SMEs. With a workforce of around 1,000 and decades of experience and expertise in the fields of cloud, internet of things, SAP and colocation, q.beyond AG helps its customers transition to the digital age. Gleiss Lutz has already advised q.beyond AG in the past, including in the context of the sale of Plusnet GmbH to EnBW Telekommunikation GmbH.

NorthC is a leading data centre operator in the Netherlands. The company was formed in 2019 from the merger of The Datacenter Group (TDCG) and NLDC (Netherlands Data Centers). NorthC is part of the infrastructure portfolio of DWS, a listed asset manager belonging to Deutsche Bank.
