Gleiss Lutz advises Tiger Global on financing round for Berlin software company Pitch

​A team of Gleiss Lutz lawyers has advised US financial investor Tiger Global on the acquisition of a stake in Berlin software company Pitch Software GmbH (Pitch) as part of a financing round. The round was led by Tiger Global and Lakestar and also joined by existing Pitch investors Index Ventures and Thrive Capital. Pitch raised a total of around USD 85 million in the round.

Founded in 2018, Berlin software company Pitch offers a collaborative digital presentation platform that focuses on real-time collaboration, intelligent workflows, and intuitive design functions.

Tiger Global is a private equity investor focusing on investments in the internet and technology sectors with over USD 60 billion under management. Since 2001, Tiger Global has invested in technology firms across more than 30 countries. Gleiss Lutz has regularly advised Tiger Global for many years on its activities in Germany, most recently on investments in fintech unicorn Mambu and legal tech startup BRYTER and the sale of its equity investment in Flaschenpost.
