Gleiss Lutz advises MAHLE on the issue of a high-volume bond

A Gleiss Lutz team has advised MAHLE on the issue of a bond with a total par value of EUR 750 million. The seven-year bond was issued as part of the company's debt issuance programme and will pay interest at 2.375% p.a. Following MAHLE's initial rating, which Moody's published in April, the automotive supplier has been able to increase the group of potential investors and strengthen its position on the international capital market. The bond is scheduled to settle on 14 May 2021 and will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (Euro MTF).

Bonds are a key instrument for medium- and long-term financing for MAHLE. The transaction is the largest in the company's history.

MAHLE is a leading international development partner and supplier to the automotive industry.
