Starting on February 25th, new partner Dr Andreas Löhdefink joined the Gleiss Lutz M&A practice in the firm’s Frankfurt office. Before, he has been a partner at Shearman & Sterling in Frankfurt since 2014, with a focus on financial institutions M&A and co-headed Shearman’s worldwide Insurance Group. Andreas Löhdefink joins Gleiss Lutz with his team from Shearman & Sterling.
With the move of Andreas Löhdefink and his associates Dr Christoph Auchter und Kevin Löffler the general M&A team as well as the Financial Institutions team continues to expand, joining Dr Rainer Loges and Dr Jan Balssen, after Dr Tobias Harzenetter (focus: insurance) became partner in January 2019.
In addition to his attorney work, Andreas Löhdfink teaches at EBS Law School and is a member of its board of trustees. He also volunteers for the Lebenshilfe Frankfurt e.V. as member of ist supervisory board.
