Gleiss Lutz advises Linde on the sale of TEGA

Gleiss Lutz has advised Linde AG on the auctioned sale of TEGA -Technische Gase und Gasetechnik GmbH. The purchaser is DCC Germany Holding GmbH, a subsidiary of Irish company DCC. The transaction is subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities and expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2018. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

Tega - Technische Gase und Gasetechnik GmbH specialises in the distribution of LPG and refrigerants and has five sites in Germany. It most recently generated annual sales of EUR 75 million.

In the financial year 2016, Linde generated revenues of EUR 16.948 billion, making it one of the leading gas and engineering companies in the world. Linde has approximately 60,000 employees working in more than 100 countries worldwide.

International services conglomerate DCC is listed on the FTSE 100 segment of the London Stock Exchange. Last year the company generated EUR 12 billion in turnover.
