The alliance of Gleiss Lutz with the top law firms Herbert Smith LLP in England and Stibbe in the Netherlands/Belgium has been in existence since the year 2000. With approximately 2,000 lawyers in 20 jurisdictions in Europe, Asia and the U.S., the three law firms cooperate on cross-border matters, with special emphasis in international transactions, in the area of banking and finance, as well as on international arbitration proceedings and litigation.

Gleiss Lutz's special competence in central and eastern Europe is further strengthened by a formalized cooperation with the Hungarian law firm Bán, S. Szabó & Partners.
