Therefore, Gleiss Lutz runs extensive recruiting and career development schemes including scholarships for highly qualified German-speaking law graduates holding German university degrees. In addition to its efforts to attract highly-qualified young German, Czech/Slovak and Polish lawyers, Gleiss Lutz is always interested in having young lawyers qualified in other jurisdictions in its teams, in particular lawyers from Common Law countries. This helps in particular in serving international clients, but also in multinational transactions involving foreign jurisdictions. However, perfect integration into the Gleiss Lutz teams requires that our foreign lawyers have sufficient command of the German language. Most of our young foreign lawyers are on secondment from our international partner firms, but we also hire talented young colleagues from abroad on a temporary basis.
