- Matthias advises national and international clients on unfair competition law, trademarks, licensing agreements and know-how protection. He has special expertise in IT and software law. In recent years he has advised on IP and IT legal issues in several M&A transactions.
- Matthias studied at the universities of Passau and London (LL.M. 2003). He has been with Gleiss Lutz since 2006. Matthias is a certified intellectual property law attorney. In 2011, he spent time on a secondment to a leading Intellectual Property law firm in Washington, DC. Matthias is a regular guest lecturer at the Munich Law School and the Marburg Academy of Food Law. He is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and Copyright (GRUR). Matthias is fluent in German and English.
