- Horst’s practice focuses on national and international tax law. He has particular experience in balance sheets and balance sheet tax law, corporate tax law, corporate structuring, tax structuring and tax planning, criminal tax law and taxation procedures.
- Horst studied business in Berlin and Cologne (degree in business adminstration 1965) as well as law at the University of Cologne. He has been Of Counsel at Gleiss Lutz since 2000. Horst has been a certified tax advisor since 1971 and a certified public accountant since 1990. From 1976-1993 Horst was head of the tax department at a major German conglomerate. From 1994-2000 he was global head of taxes at a major German bank. Horst speaks German and English.
