- Michael’s practice covers corporate and competition law as well as mergers & acquisitions, with a special focus on Asia-related cross-border transactions. He regularly advises Asian clients, especially Japanese, Korean and Chinese companies, on German and European law issues. In addition, Michael advises German companies on their business activities in Asia.
- Michael studied at the universities of Bonn, Hamburg and Chicago (LL.M. 2003). He has been a partner of Gleiss Lutz since 2011. From 2006 to 2008 he was seconded to the Herbert Smith Tokyo office. He is also admitted in New York State. Michael speaks German, English, French, Japanese, Czech and Russian.
