The Gleiss Lutz real estate practice comprises of the following areas: the drafting of contracts for the sale of land or property development contracts for the acquisition of real estate, including real estate for project development and resale, as well as real estate holdings. We offer comprehensive advice regarding public law for properties used for project development, covering all aspects of planning law, environmental protection law and historic site preservation law. Our practice also covers the reorganisation of the land register and financing, as well as assistance during construction, in particular with regard to the conclusion of all types of architectural, engineering and building contracts, especially general contractor agreements. A further emphasis of ours is legal assistance with all forms of utilisation and administration, above all with the conclusion of purchase and property development, rental and facility management contracts. We are specialised in optimising the described steps from the perspectives of corporate law and tax law.
Of particular significance is the assistance we provide with real estate transactions including real estate due diligence. Likewise, we work in conjunction with our M&A partners on the real estate aspects of M&A transactions.
Together with our colleagues from litigation, we are also the right partners for problems that cannot be solved other than by means of proceedings before public courts and arbitral tribunals, or, particularly with regard to private construction law, by means of independent procedures of taking evidence.
