"... solid and reliable"
Chambers Europe 2008
"Gleiss Lutz has a strong transactional record in the market"
Legal 500, 2005

After the successful transfer of the former state monopoly in the telecommunications sector to competitive structures, the telecommunications industry currently finds itself in a restructuring and consolidation phase. Besides questions of regulatory law, questions ranging from business reorganisation to company transfer are increasingly moving to the foreground. Agreements on telecommunication services have also taken on increasing importance.

The advising on offer from Gleiss Lutz covers all problems relevant to this sector. Our practice includes regulatory law (interconnection order, fee approval etc.), special questions regarding the sale of companies and corporate mergers, and the drafting of complex agreements under telecommunications law. We provide support not only in connection with specific questions, but also give advice with respect to extensive projects and plans, such as the construction of network infrastructure, corporate restructuring that takes account of telecommunications guidelines during contract negotiations over telecommunication services, and with respect to difficult regulatory proceedings.
